Coming from a business finance background Sue brought those talents to the Voluntary sector in 1998 when she joined Derby Law Centre as Chief Executive.  Working closely with forward thinking trustees she engineered a ground breaking merger between Derby Law Centre and Derby Citizens Advice in 2007.  With this increased capacity Sue then led a successful bid to the local authority to launch and manage a Community Legal Advice Centre (CLAC) over a 3 year period.  This successful CLAC was the first 'under one roof' advice initiative in the country to be funded jointly by the Legal Services Commission and a local authority.

Simultaneously, in 2008 Sue became Company Secretary and Finance Director of Access2Advice CIC and has devoted her financial management skills and enthusiasm to managing the organisation's robust financial position.

From background in both the law centre movement and Citizens Advice network Bob has developed a wide range of skills in 'finding funding' and managing people within project delivery. Since 2008  he has spearheaded the formation, launch and development of Access2Advice using the vision of building a robust trading company which utilizes sound social enterprise principles to train, develop implement strategies that improve access to social welfare help and rehabilitation.
